About

Shaping the sound

Chad Perry is a Mississippi-born singer/songwriter whose music blends raw honesty with a wide-ranging sonic palette. Born and raised in South Mississippi and now residing in the Jackson area, Chad has spent more than a decade performing across the Southeast, bringing his sound to bars, festivals, fairs, and casinos while steadily building a loyal following.

Drawing from a diverse set of influences, Chad crafts songs that resonate on a deeply personal level, dealing with themes of faith, heartbreak, and mental health, offering listeners both vulnerability and hope. This emotional authenticity has become a defining element of his artistry, connecting with audiences from all walks of life. Over the course of his career, Chad has had the privilege of opening for national touring acts such as Andy Griggs, Confederate Railroad, and Switchfoot—experiences that have helped shape his dynamic stage presence and broaden his reach. When performing with his band The County Line Drifters, he delivers an engaging live show that keeps audiences on their toes while seamlessly blending country with a hearty rock & roll sound, covering anything from Brooks & Dunn, Luke Combs, and Tyler Childers to Kings of Leon, Fall Out Boy, Creed etc. They have often played to packed houses at places like Brewsky’s in Hattiesburg, Shuckers in Ridgeland, and Dan B’s in Bay St Louis just to name a few.

Perry’s original songs “Sweet Serenity” and “Pearl River Blues” are available on all major streaming platforms, with more on the way soon!

With a sound rooted in the south and a message that speaks far beyond it, Chad Perry continues to carve out his place as a compelling voice in modern country music.

“Chad Perry and his band effortlessly hit the happy spot, creating a sound that is both uplifting and infectious.” -Illuminate Mississippi
